December 13, 2006 When Variety referenced Graham King's Initial had purchased film rights to three books for Depp's production company, Infinitum Nihil. Included in the three books was James Meek's A People's Act of Love, whose story is about a rogue escapee from a 1919 Russian prison camp who comes across a mysterious fringe Christian sect.
