It was announced at that time that Johnny Depp had signed a 3 year, first-look production deal with Initial Entertainment Group (Graham King). They went on to say that Initial would co-produce as well as finance films with Depp's new production company, Infinitum Nihil.
At that time Variety printing this quote: "I have great admiration for Graham King and his work," Depp said. "I feel privileged to be given this opportunity, and think Infinitum Nihil has found a great partner in Graham. I am very eager to find, develop and bring to life intriguing material." Added King: "Johnny is one of the most talented and knowledgeable actors in the industry. I look forward to creating a very successful company with him."
